Law 360, one of the leading on-line legal news services, reports today on GordonLaw’s latest filing in New York State Supreme Court. In one of its “Top Stories,” Law 360 reports on the lawsuit, in which GordonLaw energy finance client New Canaan Management seeks to recover millions of dollars of damages caused by Chadbourne & Parke, a number of Norton Rose Fulbright entities, including the Norton Rose Fulbright Verein, and former Chadbuorne lawyer Scott Naidech. In its post, Law 360 picks up on the heart of the lawsuit: “New Canaan Capital Management LLC alleges that it had long turned to Chadbourne & Parke LLP, which combined with Norton Rose last year, for advice on deals but recently learned that Scott Naidech, an ex-Chadbourne attorney now with Winston & Strawn LLP, was secretly in league with a company on the other side of the table. The suit accuses Norton Rose, Chadbourne and Naidech of fraud, legal malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty.” Michael R. Gordon, GordonLaw’s managing partner and founder, commented to Law 360 that he is confident in the Complaint he filed on behalf of NCCM and looks forward to his day in court. GordonLaw will report on developments as the case unfolds. Stay tuned.
